TERMS & CONDITIONS
By placing bids on Hansons Button Barn Auctions  bidder agrees to the Terms and Conditions, the Bidding Rules, and the Buyer’s Premium as stated below.
We do our best to describe each item, note materials, and take photos that represent the items as they are. It is up to the bidder to look at the photos and decide to bid or not. There are no refunds or returns on auction items won. Please feel free to Contact Us with questions about how to use this auction site or about specific lots. We are happy to pull any item or card to answer questions.
By bidding on this auction you are responsible for paying for all auction lots you won + shipping & handling + the 10% buyer's premium if paying with a US check or Zelle. An additional 3.5% will be added if paying by credit card. Canadian and International  winners contact us to discuss payment options. Payments must be made within 7 days after receiving an invoice. If we have not received payment or communication from you telling us of your method payment within 10 days, we will send you a credit card invoice. Invoiced lots paid by check will be shipped only after funds have cleared the bank.
BIDDING & REGISTRATION
In order to bid in Hansons Button Barn Auctions you must complete the Registration form. Once you have submitted your registration, the system will need to verify your email before you will be able to login. Make sure to check your spam or junk folder.
Be careful when entering your bids. Correcting a bid after it is placed requires contacting us for assistance. There is a benefit to submitting your maximum bid amount from the start. Your bid stays at the lowest minimum amount required to keep you in the lead, and the bid increases (up to your maximum amount) only if another bidder places a competing bid. 
Once you have saved an item  [ Watch List ] or placed a bid you can follow your bids on your My Account page.
If you need to change your registration information please do so on your My Account page.
SESSION END TIMES
The individual auction lot is set to end in one of five sessions, all of which will end on the final day of the auction. Session end timess are are in each lot's description. All times are Eastern US Standard time. You can also sort items by Session end times on the main auction page.

Session 1 - ends at 5:30pm
Session 2 - ends at 6:00pm 
Session 3 - ends at 6:30pm 
Session 4 - ends at 7:00pm
Session 5 - ends at 7:30pm

AFTER AUCTION CLOSES
Once auction closes you will receive an email asking you how you'd like to pay and if you'd like to add insurance. Make sure to check your spam or junk folder. Please respond promptly. 
BILLING & SHIPPING
Day after auction closes, we sort all lots won by bidders and determine best shipping method for each bidder's lots. Bidders will be invoiced within 4 days of the auction close by Hansons Button Barn.
SHIPPING INFORMATION

We ship USPS Priority Mail and USPS Ground Advantage "First Class." We will only ship carded buttons in medium flat rate priority boxes.  If you are an international bidder, please contact us prior to bidding for information on how we ship to your location. 
CONSIGN WITH US
If you would like us to auction all or part of your button collection, please Contact Us. We request a few photos of the buttons you are wanting to consign. It helps us get an idea of what you have to auction and if we would be a good fit for you.
